You Pay Taxes So We Can Keep Fighting Wars

US war costs exceed $11.3 billion. Iran's cheap drones drain expensive missiles. Rising oil prices and contractor profits burden taxpayers globally.

You pay taxes so we can keep fighting wars

The United States spent $11.3 billion in only the first six days of this war. This money is mainly for munitions. It does not count the cost of maintaining troops or repairing bases. Taxpayers are essentially “burning up” cash every single day. The US is funding this with debt. Interest on old war debts already tops $1 trillion.

The math of this war is very strange. Iran uses Shahed drones that cost between $20,000 and $50,000. To stop them, the US fires Patriot missiles. One of these missiles can cost $4 million. In some cases, costs reach $15 million for one interceptor. Iran uses these cheap drones to drain US stockpiles. It is “Smart Thinking” against “Smart Bombs”.

Media often forgets the local value of money. While $20,000 is “cheap” for the US, it is a huge amount in Iranian Rials. Sanctions have already pushed 10 million Iranians into poverty. Iran focused on low-cost weapons because they had to. They mastered this through reverse engineering. In 2011, they captured a high-tech US RQ-170 drone. They copied it to build the Shahed family of drones. Now, the US has done an “Uno reverse”. The US copied the Iranian copy and made the LUCAS drone. It would be a comedy if people weren’t dying.

The fight was between Israel and Iran. Now, the whole Middle East is a target. Iran is attacking US allies like Dubai and Qatar. They target oil zones to put pressure on the US. Many US citizens live in the UAE and are now in danger. Iran has also closed the Strait of Hormuz. This waterway carries 20% of the world’s oil. Oil prices have hit $100 a barrel and could reach $200.

If the Iranian government falls, the power balance will shift to a total monopoly. Meanwhile, the US keeps fighting despite its massive debt. Donald Trump claims he “won” the war in just one hour. Interestingly, news about the Epstein files vanished as soon as the missiles started flying. A fresh war is a great way to hide a dirty scandal.

In the end, the aam-jonota (common people) face the consequences. Stock markets are dropping. Gas prices are rising at Costco and everywhere else. Hundreds of civilians and many soldiers are dead.

War war war! Powerful people love war, don’t they?

War is a loss for the people but a profit machine for the powerful. Powerful people love war because it fills their pockets while taxpayers pay the bill.
